President de Klerk will attend a Student Peace Summit inspiring Middle School students to become peace leaders in their community; contact the WPI if you are a teacher and want to attend.

Time & Location: 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Buckley Center, University of Portland

President de Klerk will dialogue with University Presidents Charles Schlimpert of Concordia, Robin Baker of George Fox, and others on: “Africa today And Discuss Where The Leadership Will Come From To End the Korean War and the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict”. This will be followed by Q & A from Students.

Tickets: $5 for full time students with ID; $10 for all others; Mail checks to the WPI.

President de Klerk will give an inspiring Nobel Peace Laureate lecture on “The Role of Leadership during South Africa’s Transition and Lessons on Contemporary Peace Issues for Today” followed by Q & A

President de Klerk will discuss how and why he made the decision to eliminate South Africa’s nuclear arsenal, the only country in history to do this. He will also discuss the Global Leadership Forum: www.g-l-f.org which he founded.
